# Design Instructions:

Remove old polish with remover and lint-free pads. Wash and dry hands completely. Push back cuticles with care, avoiding cutting live skin. Ensure nails are free of oil and lotion before beginning.

File natural or tip-extended nails into an elongated almond shape with softly rounded points. If using full-cover tips, select correct sizes and apply with nail adhesive, then lightly file for smooth blend. Brush away all dust.

Brush on a thin, even layer of clear base coat to each nail, avoiding the cuticle. Let it dry per product directions.

Apply two thin coats of pale blush-pink nail polish to fully cover each nail. Allow each coat to dry for at least 1–2 minutes before repeating.

Visually map out two or three drips per nail, varying length and placement. Refer to hand/nail guide below. Most drips remain within the upper third of the nail, with 1–2 occasionally extending mid-nail.

Place a drop of deep blood-red polish on palette or foil. With a fine liner brush, paint a slim curved arc near the cuticle edge on each nail, leaving a narrow margin away from skin.

Using a small dotting tool and red polish, place dots for each drip end according to your planned layout; use larger or smaller dots to vary drip length and thickness.

With the liner brush, draw slim lines connecting each dot to the red cuticle band; slightly widen each line as it meets the band, then fill in. Keep stems slim and bases rounded.

With small detail brush, round all corners where drips join band for natural liquid effect. Avoid sharp points or square lines. Red areas should appear continuous with gaps of blush pink between.

Thumb: Three uneven drips, one reaching farthest; Index: Two main drips—one short, one longer; Middle: Three drips with a notably long central one; Ring: Two or three slim drips at different lengths; Little finger: Two narrow drips and a small curved accent.

If red polish looks uneven, allow to dry and apply a second thin coat inside existing outlines. Avoid thick polish buildup, especially at drip ends.

For extra reflectivity, substitute or overlay metallic red polish on the finished drips with detail brush, staying within red boundaries. For true chrome finish, follow powder system directions—not regular polish.

Use a flat cleanup brush dampened with remover to tidy any red polish on skin. If needed, once dry, use detail brush and blush pink polish to neaten lines directly on the nail.

After red polish is dry, apply a glossy top coat in smooth strokes. Float the brush to avoid displacing the red pigment into the base color. Cap free edges.

Let nails dry completely per top coat instructions. Apply a small drop of cuticle oil around each nail to finish.

For the cleanest drip effect, vary the distance between drip ends and pointed tips across nails and avoid perfectly even spacing. Metallic polish provides a reflective finish, but true chrome requires specific powder and lamp curing systems.
